Policy

Please read the following statements. If you are in agreement and will abide by these policies, sign at the bottom and return with appropriate paperwork: (YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THIS FORM AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE)

1. Due to the ambiguous political-legal position of private home education programs, we understand
that CCS cannot offer legal immunity and is only providing school services to assist parents in the schooling of their children.

2.
Enrollment to CCS is dependent upon acceptance by HSLDA.

3.
We realize that although CCS is keeping our children’s records, it is in no way responsible for their
actual education.

4.
We have read CCS’s Statement of Faith and we are in agreement with it. We understand that the
Christian faith is the basis of this organization.

5.
If you wish to withdraw from CCS you must submit, in writing, a letter stating your intent. Upon receipt
of your letter, tuition obligations will cease. Until we receive notice that you intend to withdraw, you are still enrolled and are responsible for any accumulated late fees.

6.
We understand that a late penalty of $25.00 per week per child will be charge for failure to submit the
following reports on time. (this will be donated to Family Protection Ministries.) We are also aware that continued tardiness may result in the termination of our membership.

a. Copy of Attendance Form - Due quarterly for all grades.

b. Copy of Semester Evaluation / Log Sheet and Report Card for K-6.

c. Copy of Report Card for 7-8.

d. Copy of transcripts for 9-12.

e. Copy of Lesson Plans - Due quarterly for all students.

f. Copy of final Course Standard for 7-12.

7.
We understand that our responsibilities as parents are as follows:

a. Both parents are in agreement concerning home education.

b. Both parents agree to diligently and consistently teach their children a reasonable course of study and to provide parental supervision during school hours.

8.
School fees are as follows:
a. Tuition is $200.00 (non-refundable) per family, per year with 2 students

($25 each additional student), and is due in June.

b. Tuition for high school students is an additional $100.00 per high school student per year.

c. A registration fee of $50.00 per child is due at enrollment for new students.

d. An enrollment fee of $50.00 per family is due with the enrollment form. This amount will be deducted from the remaining balance of your tuition in June.

e. If you miss our annual mandatory meeting there will be a $10.00 fee to cover the cost of mailing the enrollment forms to you.

f. If you lose your paperwork during the school year, and we have to replace it, there will be a $10.00 replacement fee per student.

9.
We cooperate with other schools in transmitting permanent records to them upon request. We expect that any private school requesting records will have an affidavit on file with the State. Be sure all required
reports have been turned in. The records cannot be sent unless they are complete and up to date.

10.
Registration for the school year is not final until all forms are completed & returned, all registration and
tuition fees are paid and proof of HSLDA membership is submitted.

11.
Paperwork that is due, can be mailed to the P.O. Box (must be received by the due date) or left in the
box on our doorstep.

12.
All checks are made payable to Cornerstone Christian School (CCS).

13.
SAT testing is required for all 7-12 graders
. Please mail us a copy of test scores when you receive
them. For 9-12 graders we will accept PSAT/SAT or test scores in lieu of SAT scores.

14.
An enrollment form must be completed each year for re-enrollment to Cornerstone Christian School.

15.
CCS reserves the right to deny or terminate this agreement with any family according to the
discretion of the CCS Administrators.
